AN ENGLISH POTTERY OVAL-FORM TEAPOT AND COVER,
CIRCA 1790.
The teapot is decorated with engine turned fluting, a turned and slipped band at the rim. The granite surface is made from chippings of coloured clays applied to the body and the surface is then turned on a lathe. small chip repaired to bottom of spout & repair to cover.
