A pair of English creamware plates,

c.1800-10.


A pair of English creamware plates of shell form with molded rim decorated with alternating designs of intertwined dolphins and a flower pot with shell base.  The centers each decorated with a bouquet of flowers.  On one a large tulip, on the other a rose.  The rim and inner border with a single gold band.


Length: 8 inches


Mark: impressed WILSON. For David Wilson of Hanley who worked from 1801-17.
