A Massive Davenport Pearlware Pearlware Bird-decorated Vase & Cover,

Circa 1805.

The unusually large vase is painted on one side with birds after Edwards, the central bird being Edward's "Bird of Mexico".  On the other with flowers, both paintings within large heart-shaped panels which are all on a pale blue ground.  The domed cover is similarly painted within circular panels to each side.

Dimensions: 21 1/2 inches high x 11 3/4 inches deep x 13 1/4 inches wide
