A Fine & Unusual English Woolwork Picture of An African Farm Scene,

The woolwork picture depicts a farm scene in Africa. In the foreground are fields being ploughed by an African farm hand and led by working cattle. In the centre is a woman walking with a child towards a village, another woman is walking towards her.
In the middle-ground is the village with two groups of houses and trees with a path running between. The houses are mud with thatched roofs. Beyond one is a taller domed white building. The whole being surrounded by a scrub wall. In the background are mountains.
