The legs butterfly the corners and at each base is an applied carved rectangular detail.
The top has a lower skirt with a handing tassel in the centre of each side. There is a shelf suspended between the legs with unusual symbolic decoration on the underside consisting of two openwork rails on each side of a central shaped rosette.
