Liverpool Delftware Fazackerley Cornucopia Wall Pockets,

Circa 1760.


The pair of beautifully coloured 18th-century Fazackerley polychrome moulded wall pockets are decorated with birds, the birds face each other as they are perched on a flowering tree branch.  Each bird is painted in greens, browns, manganese and yellow.  The shaped rim has a central conch shell with a flowerhead with two large green leaves to the side.


Dimensions: 7 3/4 inches high  x 5 3/4 wide x 3 inches deep
