Mid-Century Modern sculptural cream lacquered console, sofa or hall table featuring a cantilever design. The asymmetrical design features thick tubular and half cylindrical shapes.


Dimensions: 30 1/4 inches high x 55 1/2 inches wide x 18 inches deep.


Condition: good, some scuffs and scratches, some wear and small chip to edge, wear consistent with age and light use

J. Wade Beam is one of America’s most iconic furniture designers.


After several years working at the legendary Dunbar Furniture Company of Berne, Indiana Wade became Design Director and VP of Sales and Marketing at Brueton Industries Inc. of  New York.


For ninety years, Brueton, a US manufacturer, based in metropolitan New York, become known for its diversified expertise in manufacturing high end furniture catering to architects and designers.


Brueton produced a highly stylized line of contemporary furniture for the residential, contract and hospitality markets. Brueton worked and works with some of the most creative and talented designers from around the world receiving many awards and accolades in the design world.
