Chelsea Porcelain Red Anchor Period Vine Leaf Botanical Dishes,

Red Anchor Period,

Circa 1755-8.


The deep shaped botanical porcelain dishes are moulded with large vine leaves to the rim, two with bunches of moulded bunches of grapes.  The centres with a well painted bouquet of flowers and other scattered flowers.


Mark: small red anchor near foot rim of underside.


Dimensions:

9 3/4 inches wide x 8 inches deep x 2 inches high.

24.77cm x  20.32cm x 5.08cm high.
