Mid-18th Century English Redware Teapot.

English Redware Teapot & Cover,



The redware pottery lead glaze teapot & cover has a red coloured body with cream-coloured clay appliques of  animals flanking a fleur-de-lis in the centre of each side.

This type of ware was formerly called Astbury-Whieldon.
