Set of Six European Creamware Openwork Dessert Plates,

Possibly Waechtersbach, Germany.

The set of six plates with a slight dipped well have an openwork border designed in imitation of English saltglaze stoneware with an alternating diaper design and six openwork trellis opening enclosed by a scroll design.


Marks:  An impressed shield with a 2 above and S below, an A to the left and a U to the right.  And a printed blue circle with a blue X with the letters H D & Co. enclosed between the lines.


Dimensions: 8 3/4 inches x 3/4 inches high.


Condition- No repaired or restoration. Two have tiny flakes to the raised moulded design (see photos).
