Circa 1820


The attractive Flight, Barr & Barr porcelain dessert service is decorated with two bands of gilt on the border and repeated around the central well with a most unusual design of concentric circles with a green pea-like centered and a dotted puce surround.  The rim with a plain gadrooned crimped edge.


The service comprising of the following:


12 plates (one plate with invisibly repaired short line) 8 1/2 inches diameter;

2 square dessert dishes, (1 small frit on rim; one with hairline repaired.) 9 1/2 inches x 9 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches;

1 small covered tureen (one handle & finial off/on) 7 1/4 inches high x 6 1/4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches

1 large compote; 12 1/4 inches x 3 3/4 inches;


16 items total.
