English Pearlware Tea Kettle or Punch Pot and Cover,

Early 19th Century


The large kettle has a raised shaped handle painted with a band of underglaze blue swirls.  A wide moulded band of blue leaves encircle the kettle in the centre.  This form is variously described as a large teapot or as a punch pot.  It is most likely a punch pot.


Dimensions: 10 inches high x 12 inches wide x 9 inches deep
