Newcastle Prattware Pottery Model of a Horse,

Probably St. Anthony Pottery, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Circa 1810-30.


The brown-gray dappled horse with a cropped tail stands on a flat green rectangular base with canted corners.  It has a blue saddle cloth and a yellow strap around its middle.   The horses ears & legs are repaired.


Dimensions:  7 inches high x 7 1/2 inches long x 2 inches deep.


Some horses of this form are marked with an impressed St Anthony mark.
